As you are no doubt aware, there is a measles outbreak in the MidCentral district currently which has affected a number of schools.
Below is a link to an excellent short video about immunisation and measles, which has been developed for the current national outbreak. It covers some basic information about measles and actions to prevent the spread of the virus, including immunisation.
There are no diagnosed or suspected measles cases in our student population. In consultation with the Public Health staff we have been monitoring and will continue to monitor the situation. They will advise of any action we may need to take subsequently.
