Do you have a passion for aviation, enjoy trying new experiences, or seek to learn new skills? Then the Air Training Corps is for you! We are a youth organisation with a military flavour that covers a wide range of topics including aviation, bushcraft, and leadership. We also run regular weekend camps and activities to practically apply skills and knowledge gained. These include flying days, weekend hikes, bushcraft camps, and shooting days at the RNZAF Base Ohakea shooting range. You’ll also receive opportunities to attend week-long courses held at military bases where you’ll receive training in and apply the principles of leadership, working with a team, confidence in speaking to a group, and many other areas, all while meeting and developing friendships with other cadets from around the country.
