A comfortable start to the defence of the Super 8 title. With Rotorua a no show and both Gisborne and Hastings pulling out late, we had a bye in the afternoon.
Match 2 v Napier Boys’ High (4th seeds) - Tuesday morning
PNBHS beat Napier BHS 4-2.
Number 1 Kurt Amey has suffered an injury. Kieren Rooney dominated the top doubles to guarantee the win. Caleb Young and Alex Evans were clinical in winning bottom doubles 6-0 6-0.
