NZ School of Music, “Jazz Project”
On Thursday 8 June, the PNBHS Stage Band took part in the NZ School of Music, “Jazz Project” - Competitions for Big Bands. The Band played a great set and the workshop after the performance was very encouraging and helpful. Results from the competition will be announced today after the Combo Competitions.
The NZSM "Jazz Project” ties in as part of the Wellington Jazz Festival which also follows on from the Manawatu Jazz Festival last weekend where the Stage Band won best Manawatu Big Band, Best Overall Big Band and Keunhee Lee winning Best Trombonist.
