The Palmerston North Boys' High School World Vision Committee presents from Our Generation United, a keynote speakers event with the topic of the evening being 'Uniting people together for change'.

The money raised from this event will go towards education and safe places for children in Syrian Refugee camps.

The PNBHS World Vision committee are pushing to spread as much awareness as possible to a community that doesn't know much about the topic as well as hopefully raising above $50,000 this year which is nearly five times the amount raised by the committee last year.

Throughout the night there will be performances along side the speakers including NZ favourites Libby Offord and more.

The first speaker is Thomas Nash who has been working overseas in removing unexploded cluster bomblets, landmines and other unexploded remnants of war in areas where there are now people living in again. The second speaker is Mike Allsop, an airline pilot, who has climbed Mt Everest. He is an adventurer, extreme marathon competitor and an ordinary family man proving that anybody can accomplish extraordinary things. The last speaker on the panel is Kalvin Hart who is passionate about empowering people to reach their full potential and who is a representative from thankyou, the social enterprise that was born in 2008 in Australia in response to the world water crisis.

By attending this event you have an opportunity to be part of something that is going to change the world - or you can sit by and watch someone else do it.
