    Welcome to Touch at PNBHS

    Touch is a summer sport which is played in Terms 1 and 4. We have both Junior and Senior teams as well as elite teams if you think you are good enough. All teams compete in the Manawatu Secondary Schools Touch Competition. The Senior A Touch Team will compete in the Manawatu Secondary Touch competition as well as the Men's Touch Competition.

    Below is the information you and your son will need to know.

     Night played: Tuesday nights.

    Venue: Queen Elizabeth College (back fields, North st, Palmerston North.

    Times: Round 1 – 4.45pm

                 Round 2 – 5.25pm

                 Round 3 – 6:05pm 

    Depending on the amount of teams registered, all teams will have 1 to 2 games every Tuesday night.

     

    Uniform:  PNBHS Touch shirt- $54.00 (You can purchase these at the PNBHS Uniform store).

                       White Touch socks (Uniform store)

                        PNBHS P.E shorts (College House students ONLY – Yellow shorts).

                       Touch boots or sports shoes are a MUST. NO FOOTWEAR = NO GAME

    The standard of presentation is important. Therefore ALL players must wear the correct uniform.

     

    Cost:  Every player will be invoiced $25.00 for Touch fees

     

    PARENTS/GUARDIANS PLEASE NOTE: To save any unnecessary issues, I advise for your son to have a think about his priorities and commitments before signing. Once signed by parent/Guardian, we will not refund your money as your son has made a commitment to the sport.

Secondary Schools Touch Championships 2017

Congratulations to the Palmerston North Boys' High School Seior A Touch Team for making the top 10. The team finished 9th at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Touch Championships in 2017. Congratulations also to Jacob Hewetson-Talamaivao and Carson Hepi who made the tournament team.
