The Super Eight cross country was run over a challenging course that required runners to climb a number of steep hills along with some very steep descents. Runners were also challenged on the flat sections of the course with the ground very soft under foot.

Overall the Cross Country Team finished second, equaling our best result at a Super 8 competition. This is an outstanding result considering a number of key runners in the senior team were missing due to injury. The team now looks forward to competing at Nationals in Rotorua in three weeks time.
