PNBHS Agriculture team captain Cameron Rowden with the shield for the winning team at the North Island Secondary Schools Agriculture Competition.
Yesterday two Boys' High teams competed in the North Island Secondary Schools Agriculture Competition. This was held at Otiwhiti Station. The competition comprised a range of events including sheep handling, fencing, quad bikes, cooking, general knowledge, a scaffolding challenge and firearms safety and shooting.
PNBHS 1 Team, comprising Cameron Rowden, Adam Haworth, Angus Grimes, Conor Hopkins and Ben Simpson, won the competition.
PNBHS 2 Team, comprising Scott Taylor, Tony Proude, Ben Wood, Johnny Shannon and Fraser Martin, came a credible 4th.
