This morning certificates were presented at assembly to young men who were involved in the junior reading challenge. Those who entered were responsible for having each book they read logged by the staff in the library or by the Head of English, Dr. O'Connor.  They were quizzed about the content and characters of these novels to verify that they had read them.

Certificates were presented in three categories: Bronze - at least 15 books read this year; Silver - at least 30 books read; and Gold - 60 or more books. The young men who reached these milestones were also treated to morning tea with the Rector.

Back row (L to R): Keegan Leask (64 books), Adam Sudjatmiko (32), Jude Wightman (18), Jack Pinder (20), James Cuttance (38), Connor Philpot (56), Connor Hurnard (15), Trent Hooper (18)

Middle row (L to R): Kalash Desai (30 books), Thiliner Ariyaratne (49), Luke Scott (32), Kavish Desai (15)

In front: Sam Taylforth (64 books)

Congratulations to all of these young men.
