Stratus is run on the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) software. With Single Sign On (SSO) we have connected a number of other applications through our Moodle site such as Google Docs, eTV etc. This page is to help you to learn all about how Stratus (Moodle) works.

This is a free MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) completed in September 2013 over 4 weeks.
The contents are freely available to work through and well worth while for you to learn a few new things about Moodle.
MoodleBites for Teachers is about 8-10 weeks and requires about 4-6 hours per week and is entirely online. The course is not free so please contact the Director of E-Learning/Director of Teaching & Learning or your HOD. It is highly recommended. There is also the option of doing the internationally recognised Moodle Course Creator Certification at the end of the course.
