PNBHS Football Programme 2026
Football Trials
The following dates have been set for football trials. You only need to attend ONE trial session:
Junior Trials (Years 9 & 10):
Wednesday 18th March - 3:30pm - 5:00pm
Monday 23rd March - 3:30pm - 5:00pm
Senior trials (Years 11-13)
Monday 16th March - 3:30pm - 5:00pm
Tuesday 24th March - 3:30pm - 5:00pm
Registrations and fees
Registrations for the 2026 Football season will open on Thursday, March 5th, and will close on Sunday, March 15th.
To register you need to do the following:
1. Complete the Sporty registration for Palmerston North Boys' High School Football. To register, click the link below. Note: If you are part of a CDL U13,U14 U15 or U17 Team or a Senior Men’s club team and NOT playing for school in a Saturday morning or Wednesday afternoon league, you do not need to complete this.
(Please note that all students (other than those in the above programmes) must complete a registration through Sporty in order to be eligible to play football in NZ Football administered competitions. Students will not be selected for a team until the Sporty registration is completed).
2. EVERYONE MUST COMPLETE THE PNBHS REGISTRATION FORM (opens 17th March 2025). This part of the registration is ESSENTIAL for registering for trials that will take place in Term 1. To register, click on the links below. Students will not be placed in a team until this form is completed.
3. PAY THE REGISTRATION FEE to the school's Finance Office by following the instructions below:
ALL students playing for any PNBHS team are required to pay the $160 Registration Fee
1st XI, 2nd XI and Junior A Squad members are required to pay the $160 + $30 additional fee invoiced following all squad confirmations to cover the extra costs associated with these teams.

Alternatively, you can pay the fee via Cash/EFTPOS at the Finance Office.
