Swimming
Swimming is a popular sport at Palmerston North Boys' High School and has a modern indoor 25m heated pool for year-round use.
Students are able to participate in competitive swimming, which is done in clubs. Palmerston North Boys' High School holds annual School Swimming Sports, where boys can train and compete in various events in order to score points for their club, including freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly and medley.
STUDENT USE OF POOL:
Student use of the pool outside of class time is 7:30 - 8:30am and lunchtimes (for members only) during the school week. The use of the pool during these hours is supervised by PE staff.
