  Volleyball Registrations for Term 4 2025

  Volleyball Social – Secondary School League Term 4

  Registrations are now open for Junior and Senior Volleyball Teams.

  To register for term 4  you will need to pay $40 by the 28^th August 

  These will be social teams so that you can play with your mates.
  

  How to Register?

  1. Paying $40 via Online Banking using the details below.

            Please reference the payment with Volleyball followed by your Student

            ID number and Surname.

  3. If you are at College House or if your account is in credit, please email the Finance Office finance@pnbhs.school.nz to sign up for Volleyball.

  Teams:

  Teams will consist of between MINIMUM eight and max ten players that play on a Monday afternoon, at varying times, at the Arena Manawatu.( Normally between 4:20pm and 7:20pm)

  If you wish to play in a team of your friends then please give your team name to the finance office when you register.

  Uniform

  School club singlets and shorts are to be worn at all times while on the court. Shoes and socks are a requirement to play. 
  

  Expectations:
  

  Palmerston North Boys’ High School teams do not default. It is expected that once students are placed in a team, they commit to that team. If players are unavailable they must make arrangements with their team manager.  All players are expected to complete duty either before or after their game. Any cost incurred by teams defaulting games or duties will be passed on to the players.

  Volleyball is a very popular sport at PNBHS. Our teams compete in all school grades on a Monday as well as all the local Monday Adult league grades.

  
  

  Junior Premier Volleyball League 

  To register for term 4 you will need to pay $120 by the 10^th September

  Players need to be selected for these teams. There are no “open” spots in this League.

  Teams will consist of between eight and eleven players that have been pre-selected. Teams will play on a Monday Adult League night and Tuesday Prem League afternoon, at varying times, at the Arena Manawatu. (Tuesday normally between 4.30pm and 8.30pm)

  Uniform

  Volleyball Shirts and shorts are to be worn at all times while on the court. Shoes and white socks are a requirement to play. Volleyball shirts and shorts can be purchased at the uniform shop Tops need to be in to Mrs Jacob in F4 NO LATER than 5^thSeptember for numbers to be printed on them before Term 4.

  The school expectations are that you are not able to play if there are outstanding fees owed, or you are away the day before/day of the game, unless there is a specific reason such as in school activities.

  National Junior Championship Tournaments.

   

  Auckland – North Island Junior Championship 

  Dates - 18th November - 21st November 
  Location - Pulman Arena, Takanini, Auckland 

  Cost: TBC

  OR 

  Wellington – Lower North Island Junior championship Satellite 

  Dates - 18th November - 21st November 
  Location - Te Rauparaha Arena, Porirua, Wellington

  Super 8:

  17^th February to 19^th February

  The Senior A team or hand selected players only. The Super 8 Tournament will be held in Napier with more info to come. 

  Cost is $398.00 per player and needs to be paid to the finance office by 10^th of February. 

   

  Regional Tournament: 

  Saturday 1^st March – Sunday 2^nd Marach 

  This will serves as a qualifier and rankings for the National Tournament. This will be held at the Arena Manawatu. 

  Cost is $40 per player and needs to be paid to the finance office by 21^st February 

   

  National Tournament – NZSSVC:

  24^th March – 28^th March 

  Held at Massey University and Arena Manawatu. The opening ceremony on the 23^rd March. 

  Teams and players will be selected for this tournament. 

  Cost is $135.00 per player and needs to be paid to the finance office by the 17^th March
