Young men in the Year 10 New Zealand Studies class recently took a field trip to examine the flood protection works around Palmerston North city. The photographs below show the group at the 'Fitzroy Bend' of the Manawatu River. The class is currently studying the challenges that the natural environment provides for the people who live in the region.
