On Friday Mark Ammundsen from Forsyth Barr came and spoke to all the Level 3 Accounting students at PNBHS. He went through what an investment adviser does and what investment options people have. He talked about the balance between risk and reward and where having shares fitted onto that spectrum. Level 3 Accounting is currently completing an Internal Achievement Standard on advising a young client as to whether they should be investing in shares in The Warehouse Group Ltd. Mr Ammundsen discussed how Forsyth Barr would approach looking at a company such as The Warehouse and gave his opinion on the company and all retail shares available on the NZX.
