Boys' High played St Pat’s Silverstream, winning the match 5 – 1, which enabled them to reclaim the Old Boys’ Cup. The team got off to a nervous start with St Pat's dominating the early exchanges on a heavy pitch. However, it was Boys’ High who scored first with a nice tap in from Mason Charleton after some great passing between the mid-field players. Ten minutes later, Mason got his brace with a well-struck shot that comfortably beat the keeper.

In the second half, both teams played end-to-end football with chances from both sides narrowly missing the onion net. Late in the game, St Pat's found the back of the net to narrow the score and set up a thrilling finish. Fortunately, Boys’ High dug deep to score 3 goals on the trot, which made the final score 5 – 1 in their favour. These 3 goals were scored by Kaykay Adeyinka, Michael Poff and Luke Minshull.
