Presentations were made this morning to young men who performed with distinction at the North Island Secondary School Athletics Championships earlier in the year. Andre Le Pine-Day (left) was first in the intermediate 800m, first in the intermediate 1500m and a member of the senior relay team that finished first in the 4 x 400m relay. Angus Lyver (centre) was second in the junior high jump, third in the junior 100m and third in the junior 200m. Toviar Muir (right) was a member of the intermediate boy's team that finished third in the 4 x 100m relay. Benjamin Wall (third senior 3000m and third senior 1500m), Mark Seumanu (first senior high jump) and Bradyn Popow (second 3000m open walk) were other podium finishers at the North Island Championships.
