At assembly this morning presentations were made to the captains of PNBHS teams that won their divisions in the local secondary schools competition. The Junior A defeated Manukura in the final of the junior A grade competition and co-captains Zayne Poole and Fletcher Carpenter received the shield on behalf of their team. The PNBHS Junior 3 team reached the final of the B grade competition, where they finished second.
The Senior A ‘Black’ team won the round robin Senior Touch Module ahead of Manukura. The Senior A ‘White team finished third in the module. This is a good lead up to the national secondary schools tournament later this year. The captain of the Senior A ‘Black’ team Kopere Tanoa, accepted the shield on behalf of his team.
