Hiding beneath the shrink wrap at the back of the school is a new classroom, the major project for young men in the Year 12 and Year 13 Construction classes. Thanks to Placemakers we were recently able to shout lunch for the young men who have been busily working on the project and provide an opportunity for staff to view the progress. We would also like to thank Scafit Ltd for their support, providing the scaffolding and plastic wrap to ensure that work on the project can continue regardless of the weather. This project provides a fantastic opportunity for our young men to develop their practical skills – a pathway into apprenticeships and employment. The classroom project is due to be completed before the end of the year and will be moved into place during the school holidays, ready for use in 2020.
