PN RSA Speech Competition
It was
fantastic to see four young men from PNBHS - Kavish Desai, Andrew Karatea, John
Hopcroft and Jacob Waugh - entering the Palmerston North RSA Speech Competition
last night. Well done for taking on this
extra challenge on top of bust academic workloads. Congratulations to Jacob Waugh, who was
awarded first place, and will present his speech at the upcoming Palmerston
North Armistice Day service. Andrew
Karatea was second and will present his speech at the 2020 ANZAC Day Dawn
Service, while John Hopcroft was third and will present his speech at the 2020
ANZAC Day Civil Service. All three young
men received very generous prizes from the Palmerston North RSA, prize money
and book tokens, while the PNBHS History department was awarded $1200 to put
towards student resources.
