As part of their Year 10 Social Studies programme young men are required to complete an assessment in which they research the involvement of a significant New Zealander in a 20th century event. Part of the research task requires them to link their New Zealander’s activities to our school values. Recognising and understanding the values that guide other’s behaviour is a great way for young men to develop their character – as well as being a great conversation starter at home.
