Congratulations to Gateway Automotive students Darcy Ainsworth, Astle Truscott, and Shannon O'Neill who leave PNBHS today to take up employment opportunities with the offer of Automotive Apprenticeships.  Darcy has gone to Hireways as a diesel mechanic (heavy plant), Astle has also gone to Hireways as an auto electrician and Shannon has gone to Toyota as a petrol mechanic.

All three students were signed up whilst on the Gateway course with the Motor Industry Training Organisation (MITO) and all have completed several unit standards counting towards their apprenticeships.  We wish all three of these young men all the best as they enter the world of work.

Finally, a big thank you to not only Hireways and Toyota for investing in students from PNBHS but all employers who have employed and offered apprenticeships to young men from the school.

If you are a current Year 11 or Year 12 student interested in doing the Gateway course in 2022 the formal presentation/meeting will be held on Tuesday 24th August, Period 5 in the Speirs Centre.  Application forms will be on offer at this time.
