‘Swim’ for life’--Raising money for the Cancer Society.
Unfortunately, due to the current Omicron situation within New Zealand, the annual ‘Relay for Life,’ has been cancelled. To continue supporting the Cancer Society, PNBHS will be running a similar event on the 25th of March from 9:00am to 4:00pm; the ‘Swim for life.’ Whilst being restricted to PNBHS students, we aim to Swim a total distance of 44km [The Cook Strait and back] within the school pool. It is a $10 entry, and all swimming levels are encouraged- [floatation devices will be provided]. We need as many students to support this event as possible, registrations and donation sheets available at the library. Note; this is an opportunity to gain Barrowclough points.
