Over the last week, more than 200 young men along with their coaches and managers and a strong contingent of parent supporters have competed in 11 tournaments from Auckland to Christchurch as part of the NZSS Winter Tournament Week. Well done to all involved for the dedication and determination to get to those tournaments and for the high level of competition shown throughout. Final placings for all teams:
Premier A Basketball – Zone 3 Qualifying tournament, Wellington - finish 1st and qualify for NZSS tournament
1st XI Football – NZSS Football Championships, Napier- finish 5th
1st XI Hockey – Rankin Cup, North Harbour - finish 12th
Rugby Colts A – National Invitational tournament, Christchurch - finish 5th
Basketball Development Team – Schick Cup, Whanganui - finish 2nd
2nd XI Hockey – Galletly Cup, Blenheim – finish 3rd
2nd XI Football – New Plymouth - finish 6th
Junior A Football – Hillsdene Tournament, Tauranga – finish 2nd
Junior A Basketball – NZSS Basketball Championships, New Plymouth - finish 3rd
Junior B Basketball - NZSS Basketball Championships, New Plymouth - finish 4th
Rugby U14 A – Colquhoun Invitational tournament, Palmerston North - finish 7th
