At assembly this morning a presentation was made to the Clay target Shooting team who won the lower North Island circuit.
Results for the season:
Skeet: Hayden Lourie 1st, Callum Lowe 2nd and Tom Bayley 3rd.
Single Rise: Josh Lourie 1st, Josh Bergerson 3rd.
Points Score: Hayden Lourie 1st, Sam Bayley 2nd.
Single Barrel: Sam Bayley 1st, Josh Lourie 2nd.
DTL ‘High Over All’: Hayden Lourie
Aggregate Skeet and DTL ‘High Over All’: Hayden Lourie.
Teams: PNBHS 1st (around 250 points ahead of 2nd – out of 3000), PNBHS B 4th.
These teams now head to Christchurch on Friday for Nationals. This involves three days of shooting with the South Island DTL Championships on Saturday, the National DTL championships on Sunday, then regional rep teams and Skeet on Monday.
As well as being presented their winners sashes, the A Team presented to the school the MacPhee Shield for winning the circuit. Along with this Sam Bayley and Callum Lowe presented the Single Rise and Single Barrel trophy’s won at the Hawkes Bay round two weeks ago.
