Stunning Year 9 and 10 Visual Artwork
The junior artists have been busy over the past couple of weeks finishing their printmaking for assessment.
The Year 9 Visual Art students have just finished a unit of work on Surrealism. They have completed some very clever drypoint etchings that piece together familiar objects in an unfamiliar way.
The Year 10 Visual Art students have been studying Siapo and New Zealand artist Michel Tuffery. They have created some amazing woodcuts that use the first initial of their name as the format to explore natural New Zealand imagery.
We are excited to see what these students create as they move through the Visual Art Department.
