Congratulations to Year 12 student Jesse Franks who, following his performances at the regional Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival at King's Birthday weekend, has been selected to attend the National Shakespeare Schools Production in Wellington in September.
At the Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival Jesse was awarded the Best Voice Projection Award.
At the National Shakespeare Schools Production Jesse will have the opportunity to work with professional directors and other students selected from the SGCNZ Sheilah Winn festivals. After these performances, students will be selected for the Young Shakespeare Company tour to the Globe Theatre in London, and we wish Jesse all the best for this.
