New Zealand Secondary Schools Road Cycling Championships

Date: Saturday 23- Monday 25 September

New Zealand Team Time Trial- Saturday 23 September- Rongotea on a 17 km circuit.

Under 16

Junior B- Logan Dowdall, Mitch Wolland, Max Calder-Kerr, Leo Webb- 13th

Junior A- Filip Martin, Jonathan Peel, Flynn Balfour, Zachery Woollett- 5th

Under 20

Senior A- Zac Hintz, Wilson Hannon, Josh Mulcahy, Logan Mulcahy, Jake Rayner- 8th

Unfortunately, various technical issues, sickness, and injuries hampered the performance of all our teams, preventing them from delivering their best.

New Zealand Road Race Championships- Sunday 24 September- Halcombe

Under 14 Race- 20km (Leo Webb- 6th, Logan Dowdall 7th, Max Calder-Kerr 13th)

Under 15 Race- 20km (Jonathan Peel-7th, Flynn Balfour 10th, Filip Martin-13th, Mitch Wolland-20th, Oliver Lean 36th)

Under 16 Race- 40km (Zachery Woollett- 30th)

Under 17 Race- 40km (Jacob Lean 12th, Logan Mulcahy 13th, Leighton Riley 26th, Lucas Rusk 31st)

Under 20 Race- 60km (Wilson Hannon 1st, Jake Rayner 30th, Zac Hintz 33rd)

Wilson Hannon's victory in the Under 20 Road Race was a remarkable achievement, reflecting his consistent performances throughout the year.

New Zealand Points Race Championship- Manfeild

Under 14 Race- Logan Dowdall 2nd, Max Calder-Kerr 8th, Leo Webb 17th

Under 15 Race- Jonathan Peel 3rd, Filip Martin 6th, Flynn Balfour, Oliver Lean,

Under 16 Race- Zachery Woollett 11th

Under 17 Race- Logan Mulcahy 10th, Jacob Lean 13th, Lucas Rusk

Under 20 Race- Wilson Hannon 5th, Jack Rayner, Zac Hintz

Special mention goes to Logan Dowdall and Jonathan Peel for their outstanding performances, earning medals at this prestigious national event.
