We took both our Senior A and Senior B teams to the Regional tournament on Saturday. Unfortunately, no other school in the Manawatū Taranaki region thought they had a Senior Open team good enough for the first division, so our Senior A team played two exhibition matches against some local Men’s Players who play at the national level. Two of these were old boys (Jonny Orr and Aidan Dassler who have been named in the NZ U21B team for the Oceania competition in Australia in April).
Our Senior A boys had a 4-4 draw and a 5-2 loss against this team, but are the Regional Champions for 2025, and the only team from our region who will play in the first division at the Nationals next month.

The Senior A team captain Sam Hawinkels presented the trophy to the school at assembly this morning.
