Attention: All Special Olympics Volunteers.
The organising committee for tomorrow's Special Olympics event has just informed the school that tomorrow’s Special Olympics athletics day has been cancelled due to the forecasted heavy rain.
This decision was to be made by 7:30 a.m. tomorrow. However, most school attendees travel outside Palmerston North, so an earlier notification is in their best interest. So that you know, there is no postponement date.
I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for volunteering. Even though this event did not go ahead, since you signed up to help, please remember to include this event in your Barrowclough Log of events you participated in this year.
