Congratulations to Te Piringa Kapa Haka group, who won Te Paetaiohi, the Manawatu/Horowhenua Regional Kapa Haka competition on Friday. PNBHS students Monson Brown, Harvey Johnson, Aperahama Kahukoti, Kavarn Marshall-Graham, Noah Mokalei, Ihaka Rapira, Kaleb Walker-Gray and Ngarunui Wihongi were members of the group. This win reflects the huge amount of work that has been put in over an extended period of time by all Te Piringa performers and the teachers, tutors and whānau who have mentored and supported them. Te Piringa are now looking forward to competing in the National Kapa haka competition in Tauranga in 2026.
