Our term 3 attendance data show a big lift in the percentage of students considered ‘regularly attending’ i.e. 90% or higher attendance. In term 3 this year 72% of our young men were at school at least 90% of the time, which compares favourably to 62% in 2024, 55% in 2023 and 58% in 2022. Very pleasingly, this pattern of improved attendance is evident across all ethnic groups and all year levels. Thank you to all of our young men and whānau who are continuing to Make School the Priority.
At the end of term 3, 163 of our young men had maintained a 100% attendance record for the school year, a fantastic effort. At interval today, these young men were shouted morning tea by the Rector. Thank you to the catering staff at College House for providing the morning tea.
