With our senior students and Year 10 Accelerate students on study leave, this attendance update focuses on our junior students only.

Regular attendance is essential for achievement at school and success in life beyond school. Each Friday, parents/guardians will be emailed the latest attendance report for their son. The information below will give you an indication of the overall attendance levels across the school and your son's year level for comparison.

Attendance by Year Level

Young men in Year 9 and Year 10 both have, on average, 94% attendance so far in 2025.

Average attendance across the school is 93.2% for the year to date.

Of our 710 junior students:

  • 578 have a 90% or higher attendance rate

  • 381 have a 95% attendance rate or higher

  • 50 junior students have maintained a 100% attendance record so far this year

 

Attendance by Club

Murray Club junior students have the highest junior attendance rate among clubs at an average of 96.2% followed by Albion (94.3%), Phoenix (93.8%), Vernon (93.6%), Kia Ora (93.4%), and Gordon (93.3%).

 

Attendance by Form Class

The top average attendance by Form Class at each year level:

Year 9:

First - 9BD - 95.6%

Second - 9OG - 95.6%

Third - 9RS - 95.5%

Year 10:

First - 10VT - 95.4%

Second - 10KR - 95.4%

Third - 10HP -95.2%
