Congratulations to year 13 student Ben Pigott who has been selected to join the Young Blake Expedition to the Southern Ocean and Sub-Antarctic in early February 2016.
Earlier in the year Ben was selected as one of 52 students to attend the Sir Peter Blake Youth EnviroLeaders’ Forum. Ben impressed the staff and other delegates at the forum and consequently has been named as one of 14 young leaders invited to join the expedition.
Ben will travel on board the HMNZS Otago to the Auckland Islands along with a crew of subject experts, scientists, educators, communicators and leaders.
