Level 3 Biology Practical
The 3.1 internal assessment for biology students has to be submitted by the end of term. It involves measuring the responses of organisms under stress. A popular choice is the water flea. The heart rate can be recorded by watching the fleas under the microscope as the temperature is increased, or the pH changed. They are transparent so the heart can be observed readily, and our video camera with screen makes the procedure simple.
