2024 Level 1 Drama
Level 1 NCEA offering 9 credits - full year course. This is predominantly a practical course covering a number of Drama areas and concepts. It will include a full class production staged in the evening for public viewing.

Assessment:
Assessment is by one internal Achievement Standard (4 credits) and one external Achievement Standard (5 credits)
Students will complete TWO internal Standards worth 5 credits during the year and their best mark will be submitted.
These will be:
AS 1.2 - Participating in Creative Strategies to create a Drama (Internal)
AS 1.1 - Explore the Function of Theatre Aotearoa (Internal)
The External 1.4 is completed in class time over 6 periods at the end of Term 3 and submitted to NZQA to mark.
AS 1.4 Respond to a Drama Performance (External)
