Te Piringa Kapa Haka traveled to Taradale for the Secondary Schools National Kapahaka Competitions held at the Pettigrew Green Arena in week one of this term. Both Te Piringa and Hato Pāora College both qualified for Nationals. There were 38 groups from all over New Zealand that were divided into 3 pools. Out of the 38 groups, only 9 were selected to perform on finals day held on Friday. Te Piringa made the top 9 and were placed 4th overall. Well done boys!
