The PTA are proud to launch the first PNBHS cookbook “Traditional Fare”, wch contains 84 recipes collected from families, staff and ex-pupils of Palmerston North Boys’ High School. The cookbook is beautifully illustrated and comprises a wide range of easy to follow recipes with ingredients that are easily accessible and affordable. Also included are past successes of the school and a little story of PNBHS. “Traditional Fare” is a culmination of many hours of hard work and dedication from our cookbook committee and PTA.
We are also extremely grateful to the businesses and advertisers who have supported us, together with all those who contributed recipes and assisted with the photo shoot.
On Wednesday 11 June 2014 each PNBHS family will be issued with 4 books to sell.
The funds raised from the sale of these cookbooks will be used to extend the new gym. The investment in ts area will provide an additional teacng room and redevelopment of the weights room, wch will benefit our current and future students.
Please take time to read and enjoy our cookbook. They make great birthday and Christmas gifts for friends and family, or consider the cookbook for a personal and local corporate gift.
The books are $10 each and additional cookbooks are available at the Finance Office.
A cash prize of $300 will go to the boy who sells the most books. Boys who sell 10 or more books will go in the draw for a $200 cash prize. There are also class prizes to be won.
