Scott McLaughlin, a PNBHS Old Boy and accelerate student, visited the school today to speak to prospective medical students about the road ahead of them. He gave an invaluable talk about surviving the first year - study techniques and how to stay mentally on top of the game, identifying and avoiding the study scam outfits making false promises in exchange for a fortune. Scott is in his fifth year of medicine at Auckland University. While at PNBHS he was a keen footballer and played in the Stage Band. His generosity and advice was very much appreciated.
