Mau Rākau (Māori Weaponry)
Students from PNBHS had the opportunity to attend a weekend at Te Kohanga Whakawhaiti Marae in Pahiatua to learn about the art of Māori weaponry. The weekend was also joined by other groups from Wellington, Pahiatua, Takapau and Napier. From the students prospective, it was an experience which put them to the test in terms of discipline, Te Reo Māori and establishing relationships with others.
