Tuesday 30th May Head Prefects Assembly - Josh Everson

Josh Everson is a recent Old Boy of PNBHS that came to talk to students in yesterday's Head Prefect's assembly. Josh told the boys about his journey from leaving school to where he is now, as a Personal Trainer/Transformer Coach with Catalyst Personal Training.

As a Year 13 student in early 2014, Josh weighed 135 kilograms and was cautioned by his doctor that he may develop Type 2 Diabetes and possibly have 10 years to live. It was at this moment that Josh made his personal decision to change his lifestyle and signed up for a gym. The process, however, certainly wasn't easy.

Josh dropped 55 kilograms - six shirt sizes - in one year (2014). He has now taken his journey into a change in career path of personal training.

Throughout Josh's talk with the boys it was quite evident the strength of his goals in his experience and the steps and determination used to achieve these. His inspirational story not only showed the hard work and grit that was needed to achieve his goals, but also showed the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

Thank you Josh for coming in and sharing your story with the school, it was surely inspiring and resonated with some boys as well.
