Caleb Falkner is a young man in Year 10 who is making a positive contribution to our community. Caleb has assisted Community Connections, a community based disability service whose vision is to help develop a society where people with disabilities are embraced as fully participating citizens, throughout 2017. Every Tuesday night Caleb has given up his time to assist with the Kapa Haka group, playing the guitar and getting involved with the group. This is a fantastic contribution and we commend Caleb for his involvement.
Caleb is fully involved in school life. He is part of the PNBHS Kapa Haka group, a member of the Year 10 Concert Band, is studying Performance Music and getting tutoring in guitar and trumpet. Additional to this, he learns the piano outside of school hours. Caleb was the captain of the Junior D Time Trial team in the recent New Zealand Secondary Schools Road Cycling Championships. It is fantastic to see the valuable contribution Caleb is making to our school community and Manawatu community – keep up the great work. #PNBHSpeople
