Four PNBHS golf teams made a successful visit to Marton Golf Club on Thursday 5 April. The A team managed to win the Manawatu/Wanganui Intercollegiate Golf Championship which means they now qualify for Nationals in September. The team was comprised of Bradley McSherry, who shot the low round of the day with 70, which earned him the individual trophy for Best Gross. Past winners of the trophy include Craig Perks who won the Players Championship in 2002 and others who have since turned professional. Kaleb Idemaru with 76, Ethan Dodds with 79 and Cameron Giddens with 83 were the other members of the A team.
Nikhil Banerjee won best nett score with 68 having shot a round of 81.
