Fourteen young men competed with distinction at the North Island Athletic Championships last weekend, gaining four first place finishes, two seconds and three thirds.
Under 20 – Senior:
Benjamin Wall – 3000m – 3rd, 1500m – 3rd
Mark Seumanu – high jump – 1st
Bradyn Popow – 3000m open walk – 2nd
Under 16 – Intermediate:
Andre Le Pine-Day – 800m – first, 1500m – 1st
Under 14 – Junior:
Angus Lyver – high jump – 2nd, 100m – 3rd, 200m – 3rd
