Visit to Te Marae o Hine
"Tini whetu ki te rangi, ko Tanenuiarangi ki te whenua" Like the multitude of stars in the sky, so great is Rangitāne on the earth.
Students visited Te Marae o Hine (The Square) and Te Rangi Whenua Gallery to learn about the history and significant landmarks of Rangitāne. A special thank you to Henare Te Kani for his time and knowledge. The famous Te Peeti Te Aweawe once said " Kua kaupapa i au te aroha mā koutou e whakaoti" - I have laid the foundation of friendship for you to bring to completion.
