3rd XI Cricket - Saturday 12 January
The 3rd XI started their season for 2019 against Marist. Marist won the toss and chose to field and the 3rds were soon in trouble at 18-3. Regular wickets kept falling as the 3rds struggled to build partnerships. In the end, they were dismissed for 109 in 34.3 overs. Mr Vindriis 44, Josh Campbell 18. Marist came out swinging in the second innings, 2 sharp catches in quick succession made the score 37-2 off 4.1 overs. Some more sharp chances were taken with a one-handed diving catch in the gully by Cooper Ryder and a running catch in the deep by Josh Campbell, but the total was never enough and Marist scored the runs 5 wickets down in 16.4 overs.
