A number of PNBHS groups and ensembles
performed at the Chamber Music Competition yesterday. Brass quintet ‘Honkers’ received the
Adjudicators award, which is chosen by the adjudicator for the group whose
performance he enjoyed the most. ‘Reed
Me First’ saxophone quartet won the Woodwind/Brass award while the ‘No Frets’ string
trio, ‘Strings Attached’ junior string trio and ‘Gone With The Wind’ woodwind clarinet
trio, were all awarded a Highly Commended.
