TE PIRINGA KAPA HAKA
Congratulations to those involved in Te Piringa Kapa Haka who really outdid themselves at the 2019 Pae Taiohi Regional Kapa Haka competition yesterday. Their performance earned them the top overall placing of the competition, receiving a newly created trophy that includes a representation of Pā Dawson Tamatea and Whaea Tiwha Blake. Not only this, but they also came first in every category that they competed in. They have secured a place in the 2020 Secondary Kapa Haka Nationals to be held in Auckland.
PNBHS performers were: Tiwha Rukuwai, Xavier Bowe, Chase Maniapoto, Potiki Watling, Cody Garton, Pukeariki Johnson, Raukahu Gray-Sharp, Jatin Lal, Rakaunui Rukuwai and Haimona Maruera
