ABOUT:
The Campion School is in Hornchurch in Essex, England. It is a Roman Catholic voluntary-aided comprehensive school. It was originally established by the Society of Jesus in 1962.

The school admits only boys in the main school (Years 11-16) but has admitted a number of girls in year 12 each year for some time, and this number has grown in recent years. The governors have since 1996 been able to expand the number of boys admitted each year from 124 to 150, and as a consequence the school is now approximately 1000 strong.

The 1st XV squad have enjoyed wonderful tours of New Zealand & Australia in 2003, 2005 and 2013. A former pupil, Anthony Diprose, has played for England and has been captain of his country. They have 19 rugby teams in the school.

The major English schools rugby tournament, the Daily Mail National Cup was won by The Campion School in 2001 (played at Twickenham) and narrowly losing in the final in 2002, prior to this they had been in three finals, they first entered the competition in 1993.
