Sunday 1st September was the fourth and final round of the Fielding Auto Electrical Winter Race Series at Manfield.  Jack Cleland and his Toyota entered the weekend sitting in 2nd in the RS Cup championship, 8 points behind championship leader and Boys’ High Old Boy, Liam How. 

In the first of the three races of the day Jack started 4th on the grid with Liam tailing the field. At the end of the 6-lap race, Jack finished in 6th and Liam 11th after each received post-race time penalties. The second race saw Liam and Jack starting off the same row in 9th and 10th respectively, and after the first corner Jack had climbed to 3rd and Liam made his way to 6th. Jack went into the final race of the day as the championship leader with a 20-point buffer over Liam and managed to retain his lead after finishing one place ahead in the final race of the series. The official results confirmed that Jack won the championship by 11 points over Joanne Dunn while Liam slipped to 3rd in the points after the last race.
